Bayer strengthens its commitment to Barcelona with its new LifeHub to advance innovation

The multinational German chemical-pharmaceutical company Bayer continues to bet on Barcelona and decides to establish a LifeHub to advance innovation, starting in the second half of 2022.

The Hub was presented exclusively at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona and it will allow employees, emerging companies, universities, technological institutions and innovation and research centres to come into contact, so that they can learn and evolve together.

LifeHub Barcelona was born with the aim of accompanying the acceleration of innovative projects as tools for the transformation of health and agriculture, essential areas for Bayer’s activity.

We firmly believe that collaboration is the engine of innovation. With this initiative that we are announcing today, Bayer’s LifeHub Barcelona, we want to create a collaborative environment with key players in the fields of digital therapies and the transformation of agriculture, with the aim of helping to identify and develop proposals that can contribute to improving people’s lives, says Bernardo Kanahuati, CEO of Bayer in Spain and Portugal.
