IESE Business School launches in Barcelona a school for entrepreneurs, innovators and investors

IESE Business School has for years been a leader in the rankings of the world’s best business schools. According to the FT Global MBA Ranking 2022, released by the Financial Times, IESE’s ranks among the top 10 programs globally and 3rd in Europe.

IESE has launched a School of Founders (SoF), a pioneering initiative in Europe, to foster the development of founders and their teams at fast-growing small and mid-sized companies. The School of Founders is a learning community that facilitates lifelong learning for entrepreneurs and empowers them to build significant businesses with a positive impact on society and the environment. The SoF will offer a variety of educational and support services for the different stages of the lifecycle of a founder and her firm. The first program is scheduled to start in July 2022 and it will support founders in the transition from startup to scale-up with mission-critical knowledge, enriching peer groups, and a powerful mentoring network.

SoF is being supported by several leading entrepreneurs and international thought leaders, who will act as mentors and teachers. Among those involved are Lucas Carné, co-founder of Privalia and 011h; Elena Betés, international CEO of RVU; Timo Buetefisch, founder and CEO at Cooltra; Jerry Colonna, renowned coach to many Silicon Valley startup founders and co-founder of coaching and training firm Reboot.io; Oriol Vila, co-founder, former CEO and board member of Holaluz; Raj Sisodia, co-founder of the Conscious Capitalism movement; and Verne Harnish, founder of Entrepreneurs’ Organization and author of Scaling Up.

This initiative demonstrates how Barcelona promotes talent and entrepreneurship, and continues to consolidate itself as a European hub for talent and innovation.
