Barcelona & Partners, by uniting the forces of local administrations, Port de Barcelona and a consortium of private investors, tilted the balance in favour of Barcelona’s candidacy. The America’s Cup is the 3rd largest sporting event globally, as well as the oldest trophy in international sports arena.
